Searching on JCarBuys is very easy and accurate. To begin you must log-in and go to the Auction search page. If you are not already on that page, can go to that page from anywhere by clicking Auctions in the header.
Once your at the auction search page, you will see two columns: Search Options and Auction Days. First you will want to choose which Auctions Days you want results from. If you are just looking, I recommend you select all available choices.
The Search Options section is divided into three categories: Search Options, Advanced Options, and Equipment. To perform a search, you must have a least one option modified in the Search Options or Advanced Options sections.
Please select/write all criterion you which to use to filter the results. Once you've selected, click the search button. If you need information about what each option does or how it is useful for you, please visit the Search Glossary.
Because this search is designed for shopping, this only includes recent auctions. If you happen to search for something and nothing shows up in the results this does not mean it exists. If you have this case, you might be interested in setting up an "Auto Notice".
If you get many hundreds of car in your results, you have the luxury of searching again for more exact results. For example, you can note the name given to a particular exterior colour in the results and return the search page and add that option.
When you find a car you are interested in listed on the results page, you can get a more detailed view of the vehicle by click it's ID number.
