Having a hard time finding out how high you should bid for a particular car? Then our Market Research feature is for you.
To access this feature, you need to first locate a car you are interested in buying. To view an individual car's information page, search for a vehicle and on the results page click on the vehicle's ID number.
Once you're on the vehicle's individual page, on the right side, you will see a link [Market Research].
When you click on the link, a new window will open that looks similar to the auction search menu. You will notice that it has some options already chosen according to what car you were looking at earlier. Adjust any options, such as the year range, and press the search button.
The results you see were all the cars that fit into you criterion that were successfully sold in the past few months. The last column is the selling price at the auction. Note that this number is not the FOB price and doesn't include the auction house's fee. To calculate the FOB price, please visit visit our Terms of Service to see our Fee Table.
