Who We Are
JCarBuys is an e-service for both buyers and our partners that is unlike any other business we know.
We are not just a car sells listing where sellers can list their cars. We are not a car exporter physically located in Japan. We are not a scam. We will never ask you for money.
What We Do
We do many things for our customers at JCarBuys:
We give our customers access to auto auctions in Japan (over 90 individual locations!) We list car stock available from our partners in Japan. We handle any sales correspondence for our partners that is started at JCarBuys. In other words, we handle all your questions, car ordering, and auction bidding for our partners. Anything that doesn't require handling money or being physically present in Japan. We can direct you to a importing agent to help you import your car into your country (optional.)
Why We Operate
We believe that the Japanese car exporting industry has much more potential if done better. We are in the Internet Age, but most companies in this industry don't utilise the "web" to its fullest. Although many companies have Internet websites, most are only a half-step better than the old telephone/fax method.
Beside having the best auto auction data access on the Internet, we are building a central location for used car dealers in Japan to have their stock quickly and efficiently sold. We also want to help expand the market by helping new buyers have answers to their questions.
How We Make Money
You've read we don't ask you for money or add to the bill so you're probably wondering how we make money.
It's very simple if you understand what we do for our partners: 1) we show their stock and show auction data. 2) we handle any sales correspondence for them if it starts at JCarBuys.
If it makes it any clearer for you, we are like an external sales agent for them. Instead of them having to spend time building relationships and learning what you want, we do that and just tell them straight exactly what you want.
Our partners' total expenses are small and without risk. We only make a small commission from them if a sale is completed. That commission comes from their profits and does not add to the cost of the individual car for you. If you are in doubt, you can confirm the price on their website.
